Podcasters

Writing a podcast is a special skill, and I can coach you in tactics for keeping your listeners in their seats (and their earbuds in their ears). I work in a variety of genres, but my favorite is long-form audio documentary.

Academics

Turn your thesis into a book, or your academic article into a feature article. One of my superpowers is helping academics “narrativize” their research into engaging stories. This usually means telling the story of your research, walking your reader through your journey of discovery.

High school seniors

Every year I work with a small number of high school seniors on their college applications. We start with a series of brainstorming exercises, then meet weekly to review each essay. My prior students have been admitted to top tier schools, and one student had her essay published in the New York Times.
